VISION

The preservation of the intangible and tangible heritage of India

The aims and objectives for which the Society is established are to establish an Academy to impart knowledge to students  and enhance the skills of the students to play tabla, other musical instruments and vocal music, other forms of music and dance both Indian and Western towards the promotion of arts.

Tabla.inc is dedicated to promote as well as preserve the tangible and intangible heritage of this nation. In accordance to the CSR clause, Tabla.inc also seeks to educate children, women, elderly and the differently abled through inclusive classes and livelihood projects.

Tabla.inc plans to form cultural centers in 10 district towns of Bengal. The goal is to include more than 250 students per center, and explore and nourish their talent. The initiative would focus on local talents from minority, backward sections, economically disadvantaged children of folk musicians and girl students, and showcase their incredible abilities to the world.

Tabla.inc aspires to create a digital platform to interact, mentor, document, showcase, and present young musicians, utilizing social media, YouTube, and similar online portals.

Covid-19 Pandemic snatched many of the opportunities that could have helped the practicing musicians. To provide financial help to the artists who faced an economic loss due to the recent pandemic of Covid-19, the Foundation would like to help them economically by providing them a suitable platform.

Tabla.inc would host one annual concert celebrating womanhood – Naari , a program of music, dance, drama, and paintings combining the young talents and celebrity performers.

Five to six Mehfil programs would be organized every year with young musicians collaborating with esteemed personalities.

Utsav, the annual cultural festival hosted by Tabla.inc will feature incredible musicians from all around the globe. It will be an enriching experience for the audience to witness the masters of various genres of music, dance, painting, theatre perform on the stage.

Tabla.inc would host monthly cultural workshops, ranging from Indian Classical and Folk Music to Puppetry, Theatre, as well as Painting and Sculptor workshop.

Paravarish, an international competition organized by Tabla.inc, will promote young artists and help them nurture their talent under the guidance of maestros. The preliminary round will be held online, after which the selected participants would be assembled together in a venue for the final round of judgment, where they will present their music in front of the legends.

Sadhna, a quarterly newsletter, will be issued by Tabla.inc on a regular basis. The subscribers of this newsletter would receive updates about cultural events happening in the city and all over the globe. The newsletter would also contain stories of great maestros and their journey.
